The size of my doors was 150 240, so a total of 3 meter wardrobes from floor to ceiling. Only the doors I got and have no cabinet body to match. I thought at first that it was a cinch to get fitted it anyway, and that IKEA uses something like Elfa sliding door system, where you just mount a rail on the floor and ceiling.
Having scratched me and found the assembly instructions for Pax online, I found that the doors are intended for mounting in a closet and not standalone. No point in giving up because of that, but it was just a little more work than I thought. Was a little excited at the height when I only had 237,5cm available (initially), and installation instructions said that it took my. 240cm. However, it turned out to be fine without modifying either ceiling or floor where the cabinet should stand.
The first point is to create kitchen canister sets a "shelf" that the doors will hang in (there would have been top shelf if one were mounted in a closet). Here klyvde I have a 19mm thick planking table that fits well with the thickness of the original shelf, about 7 cm wide. In this drill the holes and attach the approximately crescent-shaped clips in the holes. Then mount the top rail (mounting rail) together (2 parts) and snap on "shelf edge". This is completed by attaching plastikvinklene underneath and 4 screws in the front of the rail into the "shelf edge".
The self-made shelf edge affixed to the ceiling at a suitable distance to the wall. Here I chose about 65 cm to the front cabinet door, as contained most interiors. After that hung the doors in place, and the bottom rail (guide rail) affixed to the floor by feeding under the proper height, so that the doors move freely and not be dragged down. Proper placement of the wall is best done by adding a level and measure vertically on each cabinet door. This rail is there only to control, and has no support function. It needed structure with a 2 2 inch plank + even about 24mm under each mounting point (see photos)
This is about the first part of the renovations made by the 2nd floor, but normally it would be one of the last one does .. It was mostly to get the doors from the way that I put them up, and fine-tuning and tweaking waiting to room to be taken in its entirety kitchen canister sets since once.
The half months kitchen canister sets shaped clips that are mentioned in the post Mounting rail attached to the self-made "shelf" Mounting rail from below. Attaches to ceiling with appropriate waste outlet Fixing the guide rail on the floor. Lined up in a suitable height sliding doors in place. Some work remains to be done about the dog ..

Good explanation! I have a small question regarding. Ceiling height. I also plan to mount PAX wardrobe with sliding doors (with original PAX strains) in a room that has the same height as you, 237.5 cm. And it is right that you write - Ikea requires minimum 240 cm height. Has been high and 236.5 in the installation instructions, it looks like you need some extra centimeter height when attaching the outer door, since it will be raised above the inner door during installation (see diagram 25 on page 20 of the manual you link to). Or keep it real with 237.5?
Good question it there :) understand the problem, and for the doors its part it is straightforward to 237.5 mounting height without cabinet (as the post shows ..), but think you will get problems if the cabinet (Hull) is as high as 236.5 .
It is attached to the top rail (corresponding to the top surface of a cabinet) mounted at a distance of approximately 3cm to the ceiling, providing a cabinet height kitchen canister sets of 234.5 (2 cm lower than Ikea's closet). It is possible one can do it with 2cm clearance, ie a cabinet height of 235.5, kitchen canister sets but there is still 1 cm too much ..
So basically I would have said that it did not go, but having said that, there is also something called the "anything goes", just depends how much work one will lay down in it. They may be the best option I can think of to go is to cut the cabinet down at the base 1-2 cm. It will work because the doors hangs a few centimeters above the floor in the first place and therefore are not too long for a lower hull height. But as I said, a little more work .. Otherwise it goes we can always kitchen canister sets look at other solutions, such as. Elfa their sliding doors, possible they have something that can fit in 237.5 cm?
