This hotel is the best kept secret of Tuscany. For three generations, the woman of the house there sways the scepter, while her husband may refurbishing the chores. Our plan was to only stay one night, but because it suited us so well were the two full weeks. Every time we bijboekten we could stay in another room, and how big or small it was, the owner asked us just the same price as the first night. That's hospitality.
Of course it's inaba great to go to Florence and Siena: both very worthwhile. Furthermore, denotes the middle of the Chianti wine region: fun to visit wineries and winemakers, or go to tastings. Personally, I love the Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano: two great red wines.
Obviously, because the Italian cuisine is one of the best. In our hotel, Villa Lecchi, the owner made delicious pastas. Everything evening on your plate, she passed from the garden. Her dishes are fresh, basic and rich in taste: this lady really dominated Italian cuisine to perfection.
Furthermore, the restaurant La Cantinetta di Rignana near Tavernelle very well. Here comes Queen Beatrix sometimes eat with her family when she stays in Tuscany in her home. The food is relatively cheap but incredibly inaba tasty.
If you want to visit major cities in Tuscany I would avoid school holidays. Florence is just no fun in high season: teeming with tourists so you can enjoy all the beauty less.
